We were apprehensive about building an investment property in Bowen as we live on the other side of the country. We spent 2 years researching many building companies, designs, and inclusions. Our research revealed that many building companies had come and gone in the Bowen area hence we felt that it was important to select a local builder whom been in the region for many years. Merrick Construction came highly recommended by local property managers and they had a reputation of building quality homes and attending to post construction maintenance promptly.
We were looking for a complete turn-key solution on a limited budget. Our research revealed the type of properties and amenities that were demanded by tenants and the designs offered by other builders in our price range were small with a limited list of inclusions. Glenn & Cindy’s designs were not only larger with more efficient designs they made sure that inclusions met all our requirements without significantly increasing the construction price.
We were surprised how smooth the pre-start & construction phases went. Glenn & Cindy kept us informed throughout the process and always worked with us to find the best possible solution when issues arose.
